Why choose us

A Christ-centered education that prepares children for life.

At Heart of a Child, academic excellence and biblical values go hand in hand. Our students are challenged to think critically, grow in character, and develop a strong foundation for future success. Through caring teachers, small class sizes, and a faith-centered approach, children are encouraged to become confident learners and compassionate leaders.

Intimate Class Sizes

Every child deserves to be known and supported. Our smaller classrooms allow teachers to build meaningful relationships with students, understand their individual needs, and help them reach their full potential.

Christ-Centered Teaching

Faith is woven into every part of the school day. From academics to daily interactions, students learn through a biblical worldview while developing character, confidence, and a heart for serving others.

Safe, Nurturing Environment

We strive to create a place where children feel secure, valued, and excited to learn. Families appreciate our welcoming atmosphere, caring staff, healthy meals, and commitment to the well-being of every student.

01

Pre-K

Building confidence through play, exploration, and discovery.
Our Pre-K program helps children develop the foundational skills needed for Kindergarten while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.

02

Kindergarten

A strong foundation for future success. Our Kindergarten program is designed to help children build confidence as readers, writers, and learners. Many of our students begin reading by early December as they develop the academic skills and independence needed for the years ahead.

03

Grades 1–2

Building strong skills and growing independence. During the primary years, students strengthen their reading, writing, and math abilities while developing the confidence to take on new challenges. Through engaging lessons and a Christ-centered approach, children continue building the foundation for future academic success.

04

Grades 3–5

Preparing students for the next level of learning. As students move through the upper elementary years, they are encouraged to think critically, communicate clearly, and take greater ownership of their education. Through challenging academics and a strong biblical foundation, students gain the knowledge, confidence, and character needed for middle school and beyond.

Our Approach

Where Faith and Learning Grow Together

At Heart of a Child, faith is woven into every part of the school day. From reading and math to science and history, students learn through a biblical worldview that encourages both academic growth and strong character.

Our small class sizes allow teachers to truly know each child, providing the guidance, encouragement, and support needed to help them thrive. More than educators, our teachers are mentors who invest in each student’s growth, helping them build confidence, strengthen their faith, and prepare for the opportunities ahead.
